Completed in 1911, this is the fifth courthouse to serve the citizens of Williamson County. It was renovated in 2007 back to its original Classical Revival styling.


Walk route doesn�t go inside the courthouse, but we detoured to see the skylight under the dome.

When you reach the corner of 8th and Austin, before you make the turn look to your left. The Palace Theater was built in 1925. The original buff brick building was remodeled in 1936 to its present day Art Deco style.
