Cameron is the Milam County Seat. It sets at the intersection of US-190 and US-77. We parked on the Courthouse Square to begin the walk.

Life size statue of Ben Milam – Texas Revolutionary hero for whom the county is named.

Old gas station is now vacant.

Welcome sign when we crossed 4th Street
(Hwy US-190, US-77 and TX-36).
You need to step lively when you cross.
